treasures of the deep: accessories
       (click to enlarge) The idea of this assignment was to create a collection of accessories consisting of three shoes and three bags. When I showed my teacher how I planned to illustrate this project, I was still in the early stages of my illustration process, so basically at the time my illustrations were a bunch of scribbly white lines on a turquoise background. My teacher actually liked the sketchiness of the white lines and encouraged me to keep them even after I inked and colored the drawings. I still cleaned them up a little because my initial sketches are always rough and very sloppy, but I do kind of like the sketchiness of the illustrations. |
