marjorie: menswear-inspired mini-collection

Marjorie is a collection of menswear-inspired women's fashions that I designed while studying abroad in Florence. Marjorie is also my first name; I don't usually refer to myself as Marjorie, but with this collection I wanted to design for a more sophisticated customer, so the name just seemed more appropriate. Primary inspiration for this collection was the classical sculpture I found while exploring Florence and Rome, so I wanted to showcase classic silhouettes using a muted color palette and a combination of crisp tailoring and softer draping.
